Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients:

Tikka:

Chicken 500 grams boneless and cubed cutting
Yogurt ½ cup
Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
All spices ½ teaspoon
Lemon juice 3 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Butter or oil

Gravy:

Tomatoes 2 chopped
Onion 1 chopped
Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder ½ teaspoon
Coriander powder ½ teaspoon
Milk ½ cup
Sugar 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tablespoons

Direction:

Tikka:

Add all the ingredients of tikka except chicken. Now coat the paste over the chicken and keep aside for at least 1 hour to marinade. Grill chicken on hot grill till golden brown. Bate butter frequently to ensure that chicken remains tender and moist.

Gravy:

Heat oil and add ginger, garlic paste. Sauté and add onions in it. Keep heat on high to slightly caramelize the onions. When onions turn golden add tomatoes and keep frying on medium heat till oil separates. Add cumin and coriander powder. Mix well. Then add salt, sugar and then add chicken tikka in it. Let it simmer for 5 minutes on low heat. Increase the heat and add milk slowly in it. Stir continuously. When gravy consistency is thick turn off the flame and serve with plain rice.
