Ragu Sauce


Tomatoes 25 lbs
Onions 3 chopped
Garlic cloves 2 chopped
Oregano 3 teaspoons
Basil 1 ½ cup
Sugar ½ cup
Salt ½ teaspoon
Vegetable oil 2 tablespoons


Wash peel and cut the tomatoes. Cook them in a saucepan until tender. Strain them and mix them with onions, garlic cloves, oregano, basil, sugar, salt vegetable oil and tomato paste. Simmer for two hours. Ragu sauce is ready. When use it process in boiling water bath about 10 minutes.
