Chicken Nuggets
Servings:
- Makes 4-5 servings
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken mince
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Oil (for deep frying)
Directions:
Prepare the Chicken:
- Add chicken mince in a bowl, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, paprika, and Parmesan cheese (if using). Shape the chicken mixture.
Coating the Chicken:
- Place the flour in a shallow bowl.
- Beat the egg in another shallow bowl.
- Place the breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
- Dip each chicken first in the flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs. Ensure the chicken nuggets is fully coated in each step.
Frying the Nuggets:
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully place the chicken nuggets into the oil and fry for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the nuggets from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Serving:
- Serve the crispy chicken nuggets with your favorite dipping sauce, like ketchup, barbecue sauce, or honey mustard.
