Keemay Kay Kabab

Ingredients

  • Chopped beef – ½ kg
  • Potatoes – 3 (boiled & mashed)
  • Eggs – 3 (2 for mixture, 1 for coating)
  • Salt – to taste
  • Soya sauce – 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin seeds powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Red chilies – to taste
  • Oil – ½ cup (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Boil chopped beef and drain excess water.
  2. In a frying pan, heat a little oil and sauté beef, salt, red chilies, and onions until aromatic.
  3. Add cumin seeds powder, 2 eggs, mashed potatoes, and soya sauce. Mix well and let it cool.
  4. Shape the mixture into round or oval kababs.
  5. Dip each kabab in beaten egg and shallow fry in oil until golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with mint chutney and salad.

Servings

This recipe makes about 4-6 servings (10-12 kababs).
