Mac & Cheese

This creamy, cheesy, and comforting Mac & Cheese is perfect for any occasion! Made with a rich cheese sauce and tender macaroni, it's a must-try dish for cheese lovers.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk (warm)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the macaroni in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute until slightly golden.
  3. Gradually add warm milk, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened.
  4. Lower the heat and stir in cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted.
  5. Add salt, black pepper, mustard powder, and paprika. Mix well.
  6. Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce, stirring to coat evenly.
  7. Serve hot or transfer to a baking dish, top with extra cheese, and broil for 2-3 minutes until golden and bubbly.
