Pizza Alla Napoletana


Ingredients:

Dough:

Dry yeast 1 teaspoon
Warm water ½ cup
Refined flour 3 cups
Sugar 1 teaspoon
Butter 2 tablespoons
Salt ¼ teaspoon

Topping:


Tomatoes 400 grams
Anchovies 100 grams
Mozzarella cheese 200 grams
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Oregano 1 teaspoon

Direction:

Dough:

Dissolve yeast in warm water, stir in sugar. In flour add salt and butter and mix it well. Now fold yeast in the flour. Knead the flour with water so that it becomes smooth and elastic. Leave it for an hour or two.

Topping:

Spread the pizza dough with olive oil. Peel and seed the tomatoes, then dice or coo into a puree. Spread over olive oil. Cut cheese into small slice and arrange on pizza, followed by anchovies. Season, then drizzle a little more olive oil. Sprinkle with oregano.

Cook in an preheated oven to 350 F for 25 minutes.
