Roasted Mince Corn Pizza

Step 1: Pizza Dough (Makes 1 large pizza, 12–14 inches)
Ingredients:
- 2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
- ¾ cup warm water (110°F or 45°C)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
- Activate the Yeast: Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Mix the Dough: In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil, stirring until a rough dough forms.
- Knead: Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- First Rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Step 2: Roasted Minced Meat & Corn Toppings
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ pound minced beef or chicken
- ½ cup sweet corn (cooked or canned, drained)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder (optional for spice)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ cup tomato sauce (for pizza base)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup cheddar cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro or parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
- Roast the Minced Meat:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Stir in minced beef (or chicken), cooking until browned and fully cooked.
- Add chili powder, black pepper, salt, cumin, and oregano. Mix well and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add sweet corn, mix, and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and set aside.

Instructions:

- Assemble the Pizza:
- Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough.

- Evenly distribute the roasted minced meat and corn mixture.

- Bake:
- Transfer to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
