Lemon Omelet
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook undisturbed for 1-2 minutes.
- Once the edges begin to set, gently lift them with a spatula to allow uncooked eggs to flow underneath.
- Sprinkle lemon zest and drizzle lemon juice over the omelet.
- Once fully cooked but still slightly soft inside, fold the omelet in half.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley and Parmesan if desired.
