Spaghetti Bolognese


Ingredients:

  •  200g spaghetti
  •  2 tbsp olive oil
  •  1 small onion, finely chopped
  •  2 cloves garlic, minced
  •  250g ground beef
  •  2 large tomatoes, chopped (or 1 cup canned tomatoes)
  •  2 tbsp tomato paste
  •  ½ cup beef broth (or water)
  •  1 tsp dried oregano
  •  1 tsp dried basil
  •  ½ tsp salt & black pepper (to taste)
  •  1 tsp sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
  •  ¼ cup grated Parmesan (for topping)
  •  Fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions:

1️⃣ Cook the Spaghetti

  • Boil salted water and cook spaghetti until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Prepare the Bolognese Sauce

  • Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté onions until soft.
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
  • Add tomatoes, tomato paste, broth, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened.

3️⃣ Combine & Serve

  • Toss spaghetti with the sauce or serve the sauce on top.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese & fresh parsley.
  • Enjoy with garlic bread for the perfect meal! 🧄🍞
