Peach Buttermilk Soup

A refreshing, creamy, and slightly tangy chilled soup perfect for summer! This no-cook recipe combines the natural sweetness of peaches with the smooth richness of buttermilk.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe peaches (peeled, pitted, and chopped)
  • 1 cup buttermilk (chilled)
  • ½ cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, adds warmth)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (for extra flavor)
  • A pinch of salt (balances the flavors)
  • Mint leaves & peach slices for garnish

Instructions:

1. Blend the Soup:

  1. In a blender, combine peaches, buttermilk, orange juice, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Chill the Soup:

  1. Transfer to a bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

3. Serve & Garnish:

  1. Pour into bowls or glasses and garnish with fresh peach slices and mint leaves.
