Mango Fool
A simple, creamy, and luscious dessert made with fresh mangoes and whipped cream. This British-inspired tropical treat is perfect for summer!
Servings: 2-3
Total Time: 10 minutes (plus chilling time)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup mango puree (fresh mangoes blended until smooth)
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream (chilled)
- 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (enhances the mango flavor)
- Fresh mango cubes & mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Mango Puree:
- Blend fresh mango chunks with sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
2. Whip the Cream:
- In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
3. Assemble the Mango Fool:
- Gently fold the mango puree into the whipped cream using a spatula. Do not overmix—leave some swirls for a marbled effect!
4. Chill & Serve:
- Spoon into serving glasses and chill for 30 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh mango cubes and a mint leaf.
