Mango Fool

A simple, creamy, and luscious dessert made with fresh mangoes and whipped cream. This British-inspired tropical treat is perfect for summer!

Total Time: 10 minutes (plus chilling time)


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mango puree (fresh mangoes blended until smooth)
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream (chilled)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (enhances the mango flavor)
  • Fresh mango cubes & mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Mango Puree:

  1. Blend fresh mango chunks with sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  2. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

2. Whip the Cream:

  1. In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

3. Assemble the Mango Fool:

  1. Gently fold the mango puree into the whipped cream using a spatula. Do not overmix—leave some swirls for a marbled effect!

4. Chill & Serve:

  1. Spoon into serving glasses and chill for 30 minutes before serving.
  2. Garnish with fresh mango cubes and a mint leaf.
