Green Rice
Rice 1 cup
Spinach 1cup chopped
Coriander and mint leaves ½ cup chopped
Oil 5 tablespoons
Butter 2 tablespoons
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Cardamom 3
Bay leaf 1
Clove 2
Cinnamon 1
Green chilies 3
Onion chopped 1
Salt to taste
Garlic paste ½ teaspoon
Water 2 cups
In boiling water add coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt and rice and boil them. Heat up the oil and fry cumin seeds, clove, cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf. Add garlic, onion and green chilies in it and brown them. Now add spinach in it and cook it till it will make a paste. Add rice in it and cover the lid for 5 minutes. After 3 minutes add butter and again cover the lid to complete five minutes. Dish it out and serve at once.
