Apple Fritters
Golden, crispy apple fritters with a soft, cinnamon-spiced center—perfect for a cozy snack or dessert!

Ingredients:
For the Fritters:
- 2 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled & diced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- Oil for frying
For the Glaze (Optional but Recommended!)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Batter:
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter.
- Slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until combined.
- Fold in the diced apples.
2️⃣ Fry the Fritters:
- Heat about 2 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop heaping spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
3️⃣ Glaze the Fritters (Optional):
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle over the warm fritters.
4️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:
- Serve warm with coffee, tea, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream! 🍦
