Ingredients

- Yogurt: 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice: 3 tablespoons
- Garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
- Ginger paste: 1 tablespoon
- Red chili powder: 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper: 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: to taste
- Oil or melted butter: 3 tablespoons
Directions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, garlic paste, ginger paste, red chili powder, black pepper, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, salt, and oil to form a thick marinade.
- Coat the chicken evenly with the marinade and let it rest for at least 2 hours (overnight for deeper flavor).
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly grease the grates.
- Place the marinated chicken on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes per side, basting with oil or butter occasionally for extra juiciness.
- Check for doneness by ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) for boneless and 175°F (80°C) for bone-in chicken.
- Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
