Afghani Kabab

A delicious and flavorful Afghani-style minced beef kabab, packed with spices and herbs, and shallow-fried to perfection. Best enjoyed with naan, chutney, or rice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg minced beef
  • 10 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 5-6 tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 cup cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mixture:

    • In a large bowl, combine the minced beef, green chilies, salt, coriander leaves, black pepper, tomatoes, and chopped onions.
    • Mix well and knead the mixture thoroughly using your hands.
  2. Shape the Kababs:

    • Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round or oval kababs.
  3. Shallow Fry:

    • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Place the kababs in the pan and shallow fry them until golden brown and cooked through.
    • Flip occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  4. Serve:

    • Serve hot with naan, raita, or a side of fresh salad.
