Afghani Kabab
A delicious and flavorful Afghani-style minced beef kabab, packed with spices and herbs, and shallow-fried to perfection. Best enjoyed with naan, chutney, or rice.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg minced beef
- 10 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2 onions, chopped
- 5-6 tomatoes, chopped
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 cup cooking oil
Instructions:
Prepare the Mixture:
- In a large bowl, combine the minced beef, green chilies, salt, coriander leaves, black pepper, tomatoes, and chopped onions.
- Mix well and knead the mixture thoroughly using your hands.
Shape the Kababs:
- Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round or oval kababs.
Shallow Fry:
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Place the kababs in the pan and shallow fry them until golden brown and cooked through.
- Flip occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Serve:
- Serve hot with naan, raita, or a side of fresh salad.
