Tikka Karahi

A rich and flavorful Tikka Karahi, made with tender mutton or beef cubes cooked in aromatic spices, tomatoes, and fresh herbs. Perfect with naan or chapati!

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg mutton or beef (small cubed pieces)
  • 1 cup oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon all-spices powder (garam masala)
  • 3-4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 4-5 green chilies
  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Meat:

    • In a karahi (wok), heat oil and add the meat.
    • Fry on medium-high heat until the meat turns brown and is cooked well.
  2. Add Tomatoes & Spices:

    • Add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, all-spices powder, and salt.
    • Cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes soften and blend with the meat.
  3. Final Touch:

    • Add whole green chilies and mix well.
    • Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  4. Serve:

    • Enjoy hot with naan or roti!
