Tikka Karahi
A rich and flavorful Tikka Karahi, made with tender mutton or beef cubes cooked in aromatic spices, tomatoes, and fresh herbs. Perfect with naan or chapati!
Ingredients:
- 1 kg mutton or beef (small cubed pieces)
- 1 cup oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon all-spices powder (garam masala)
- 3-4 tomatoes, chopped
- 4-5 green chilies
- Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Meat:
- In a karahi (wok), heat oil and add the meat.
- Fry on medium-high heat until the meat turns brown and is cooked well.
Add Tomatoes & Spices:
- Add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, all-spices powder, and salt.
- Cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes soften and blend with the meat.
Final Touch:
- Add whole green chilies and mix well.
- Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
Serve:
- Enjoy hot with naan or roti!
