Maple Sugar Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 1/4 cups pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Trim and crimp the edges as desired.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, heavy cream, melted butter, eggs, flour, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  5. Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until the filling is set but slightly wobbly in the center.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before slicing. For best results, refrigerate for 2–3 hours to set.
