Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:
For the Cake:
- 2 cups self-raising flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter or oil
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup hot water
For the Chocolate Frosting:
- 400ml heavy cream
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
- Chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Directions:
Cake Preparation:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.
2️⃣ Separate egg whites & yolks. Beat egg whites until foamy, then add yolks and beat again.
3️⃣ Add sugar and mix until smooth.
4️⃣ In another bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir in butter or oil.
5️⃣ Combine with the egg mixture, add milk and hot water. Mix until smooth.
6️⃣ Pour batter into the greased pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Chocolate Frosting:
1️⃣ Whip heavy cream until fluffy.
2️⃣ Add sugar and melted dark chocolate, mix gently.
Final Touch:
1️⃣ Let the cake cool completely.
2️⃣ Spread the chocolate frosting evenly over the cake.
3️⃣ Garnish with chocolate shavings & enjoy!
