Roll Paratha
Ingredients:
For Paratha:
- 250 grams refined flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup oil
- Water (for kneading the dough)
For Filling:
- 250 grams chicken cubes
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup onion (sliced)
- 1 cup tomatoes (sliced)
- ½ cup yogurt
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
Directions:
For the Paratha:
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and 1 tablespoon of oil. Gradually add water and knead the dough until smooth. Let it sit for about an hour.
- Divide the dough into small balls. Flatten them with a rolling pin into large circular shapes.
- Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a frying pan over low heat. Place a rolled-out paratha in the pan and cook until golden on one side. Flip and cook the other side. Repeat with the rest of the dough.
For the Filling:
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add the ginger garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes, allowing it to change color.
- Add the chicken cubes, salt, and black pepper. Fry the chicken until golden.
- Cook on high heat until the moisture evaporates.
- In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt with a pinch of salt and red chili powder to make a tangy chatni.
Assemble the Roll Paratha:
- Take one paratha, spread the cooked chicken mixture onions, tomatoes, and drizzle with the yogurt chatni.
- Roll up the paratha and serve with a side of fresh salad and tomato ketchup.
