Roll Paratha

Ingredients:

For Paratha:

  • 250 grams refined flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup oil
  • Water (for kneading the dough)

For Filling:

  • 250 grams chicken cubes
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup onion (sliced)
  • 1 cup tomatoes (sliced)
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder

Directions:

For the Paratha:

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and 1 tablespoon of oil. Gradually add water and knead the dough until smooth. Let it sit for about an hour.
  2. Divide the dough into small balls. Flatten them with a rolling pin into large circular shapes.
  3. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a frying pan over low heat. Place a rolled-out paratha in the pan and cook until golden on one side. Flip and cook the other side. Repeat with the rest of the dough.

For the Filling:

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add the ginger garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes, allowing it to change color.
  2. Add the chicken cubes, salt, and black pepper. Fry the chicken until golden.
  3. Cook on high heat until the moisture evaporates.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt with a pinch of salt and red chili powder to make a tangy chatni.

Assemble the Roll Paratha:

  1. Take one paratha, spread the cooked chicken mixture onions, tomatoes, and drizzle with the yogurt chatni.
  2. Roll up the paratha and serve with a side of fresh salad and tomato ketchup.
