Homemade Chocolate
Servings:
- Makes 12-15 pieces
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup milk powder
- 1/4 cup coconut oil or butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional add-ins: chopped nuts, dried fruits, or chocolate chips
Directions:
Prepare the Chocolate Mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and milk powder.
- Add a pinch of salt for enhanced flavor.
Melt the Oil/Butter:
- In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil or butter over low heat.
Combine Ingredients:
- Pour the melted oil or butter into the dry ingredients, and stir well until it forms a smooth paste.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix it in. If you like, you can fold in any optional add-ins like chopped nuts or dried fruits.
Shape the Chocolate:
- Pour the chocolate mixture into a silicone mold or a lined baking tray, spreading it evenly.
- Tap the tray gently to remove any air bubbles.
Set the Chocolate:
- Place the mold or tray in the fridge for about 1-2 hours to set and harden.
Serve:
- Once the chocolate is fully set, remove it from the mold or tray and cut it into pieces or break it into chunks.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge to keep it fresh.
