Homemade Chocolate

Servings:

  • Makes 12-15 pieces

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil or butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional add-ins: chopped nuts, dried fruits, or chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Chocolate Mixture:

    • In a mixing bowl, combine the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and milk powder.
    • Add a pinch of salt for enhanced flavor.
  2. Melt the Oil/Butter:

    • In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil or butter over low heat.
  3. Combine Ingredients:

    • Pour the melted oil or butter into the dry ingredients, and stir well until it forms a smooth paste.
    • Add the vanilla extract and mix it in. If you like, you can fold in any optional add-ins like chopped nuts or dried fruits.
  4. Shape the Chocolate:

    • Pour the chocolate mixture into a silicone mold or a lined baking tray, spreading it evenly.
    • Tap the tray gently to remove any air bubbles.
  5. Set the Chocolate:

    • Place the mold or tray in the fridge for about 1-2 hours to set and harden.
  6. Serve:

    • Once the chocolate is fully set, remove it from the mold or tray and cut it into pieces or break it into chunks.
    • Store in an airtight container in the fridge to keep it fresh.
