Ingredients

For the Cake:

Refined self-raising flour: 2 cups
Eggs: 4
Sugar: 1 cup
Butter or oil: 1 cup
Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
Coffee: 3 teaspoon or to taste
Salt: A pinch
Milk: 1/4 cup

For the Icing:

Cream: 400ml
Sugar: 1 tablespoon
Chocolate syrup: For topping optional
Coffee: 3 teaspoon

Directions

Cake Preparation:

Separate egg whites and yolks in a bowl. Blend them separately, then combine and blend until foamy.
Add sugar to the egg mixture and blend until smooth.
In another bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder, and coffee. Add oil and mix with a spatula.
Combine the egg mixture with the flour mixture, stirring gently in one direction. Add milk and mix until smooth.
Grease a pan, pour the batter, and bake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for 12-15 minutes.


Icing Preparation:


While the cake bakes, whip the cream until fluffy.
Add sugar and coffee, then blend until smooth.

 Final Touch:

Let the cake cool completely.
Spread the icing evenly over the cake.
Drizzle chocolate syrup on top for a delicious finishing touch.
