Garlic Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter (or olive oil)
  • 1 lb (450g) mushrooms (button or cremini), cleaned and sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add mushrooms and sauté for 5–7 minutes until they release their moisture and start to brown.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in fresh parsley and lemon juice.
  5. Serve hot as a side dish or over toasted bread.
